System: Windows 10 1909I have this issue all the time since I got the audio interface some days ago. Example:I'm playing on my Komplete Kontrol M32 controller with a sound effect on the Komplete Kontrol software. I want to record what I play with Ableton so I start the program. In Options Preferences Audio Audio device, I choose 'Komplete Audio ASIO driver' and get the error message:'Failed to open audio interface'Going back to Komplete Kontrol and its audio parameters, I see that the status of my audio interface is 'Stopped'.It's also doing this when I don't touch my keyboard or audio software for some time. After some time, it can go back to 'Running' magically and also successfully connect with Ableton. But not always. When it doesn't seem to be working, even closing and reopening the programs, and even rebooting the PC doesn't solve the issue. This behavior is extremely unpredictable. Sometimes it's fine for a long session, sometimes it's a mess every half hour.It seems like the only way for the problem to go away is for me to wait 10 minutes. As if the firmware punishes me for doing other things on my computer by preventing me to use the tools again for a selected amount of time lol.
It's funny but also rapidly pretty annoying.Am I the only one to experience the issue? If not, is it not normal, and hence maybe a faulty product?PS: I have well checked for firmware and driver updates.
The updater tells me there's no issue. And every Windows settings (device manager, sound settings, control panel, etc.) tells me there's no issue with any logical device coming from the audio interface (usb bus, audio interface, speaker, micro, input, output.).
Hey guys/girls,I've just installed Windows 10 and got everything working smoothly.Just playing a couple of tracks on my PC and I've noticed there is a significant drop off in bass compared to Windows 7. Having delved around in settings I have foundno real explanation for this.I've updated the audio drivers to the latest version but to no avail.I've made sure that any audio enhancements are turned off.I've checked various sources (google play via edge & chrome, MP3's, Wav's)It seems to me that something within windows is either applying a high pass filter/shelf eq, or boosting the mid-range; either way the audio is not right.A quick google search seems to suggest that I am not the only person that is experiencing this problem.
