Recently acquired one of these from a gun show and have been having a hard time finding solid info on it. It seems there is supposed to be a letter prefix but can find no letters at all either on the trigger guard or under the grip. The only writings and markings other than that are U.S. That i can find.Only reason I say it's a.32 is because I found a listing that said the large frame/medium frame specs and it came out to the medium, 3' 5 shot.32 S&W short. I can't seem to get a solid read on smokeless v non smokeless rounds either. Some say you'll be fine, some say you won't. In full lock up, the cylinder rolls just a bit and it looks like the extractor is worn down, so I am trying to replace that too.
The Us Revolver Company Serial Numbers install is quick and light, and the program is extremely easy to set up. A Us Revolver Company Serial Numbers settings menu lets you choose how many items you want on the dock, where it is positioned, and whether you want zoom enabled. I have a US Revolver Co pistol. REVOLVER Co.- and -MADE IN U.S.A- stamped on top of barrel. It's a break open action w/ 5 shot cylinder?32cal. General effects of crack use include burning of the quizlet. Thank you for downloading gpg suite for mac. The barrel measures 3'. The serial number on trigger guard is 11808. The number under the handle is B 11808. It has the U.S. Circled on both sides of the grip. Any info would be of great help.
In 1909, when Iver Johnson switched to a stronger ' smokeless' frame there was a question of what to do with old left over parts. The birth of the US revolver was the result of using the old Iver Johnson parts, the US revolver was meant to be a short term run but it proved so popular it stayed in production for 25 Years. It was sold by mail order only and it was not a cheaper gun, the price was with in a few cents of the Iver Johnson marked guns. Production started in 1910 and ended in 1936.
From 1910 until 1916 no letters were not used in the US Revolvers serial numbers. The modern.32 S&W cartridges have the same pressure level as the old black power guns. The difference is that the smokeless cartridges have a sharper pressure curve. Safe for modern S&W cartridges? Don't know, I do know that that these guns were used with modern cartridges though out their life and are still ticking. Hope that helps.
